CME Lecture - Chronic Pain and the Opioid Epidemic

“Chronic Pain and the Opioid Epidemic” is the subject of this year’s College of Medicine – Tucson Homecoming Lecture on Friday, Oct. 27 from 12 – 3pm in the Kiewit Auditorium at the UA Cancer Center.  Dr. Mohab Ibrahim, Dr. Amol Patwardhan and Dr. Todd Vanderah will touch upon the current problems with opioids and why we need to find better ways to manage pain. They will also explore common pain conditions and how we can address them using interventional procedures done at our pain clinic.

There is no cost for the 2 CME credit program, but registration is required. Please R.S.V.P. by October 20.  Lunch will be served beginning at noon with the lecture scheduled to run from 12:30 – 2:30.
