Nico Contreras attended The University of Arizona, graduating in 2012 with a BS in Physiological Sciences, and in 2014 with a MS in Applied Biosciences. In 2015, he joined the UA ABBS graduate program and is currently a student in the Nikolich-Žugich lab, investigating dietary manipulation of the immune system and adipose tissue contribution to immune responses. When not in the lab, Nico enjoys playing soccer, snowboarding, and riding his road bike.
